Banu Ozkazanc-Pan, Ph.D.

Presentation on VC decision making,
Brown University FEAST series 2017

Philosophy and Work

My research efforts are guided by a philosophy of  diversity, inclusion and belonging and supported by grants from major foundations.

As technological advances, climate change and social movements impact our collective future, how can we build economies, organizations, and social systems that are sustainable, prosperous and inclusive?

To realize these goals, I work with the City of Boston Women Entrepreneurs Initiative, entrepreneur support organizations in Boston and other cities, corporations and start-ups to foster a future that is guided by gender equality.

I'm excited to announce the upcoming publication of my book:

Özkazanç-Pan, B. (Forthcoming 2019). Transnational Migration and the New Subjects of Work: Transmigrants, Hybrids and Cosmopolitans. Bristol University Press.
